JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - Until Sunday (12.11.2011), the number of members of the House of Representatives who signed the proposed use of the right of interpellation of the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights policies of nearly 100 people.


 

"Until now it is nearly 100 signatures of people," said Vice Chairman of Commission III Syamsudin Aziz, one of the initiators of the use right of interpellation.

Proposed use of the right of interpellation filed because some members of the House there are errors in the process of assessing the issuance of Circular of the Director General of Prisons on October 31, regarding the tightening of granting remission to prisoners drugs, terrorism, and corruption.

The circular was used to cancel the decree of the Minister of Justice and Human Rights October 23, which contains remissions and parole to 102 inmates. After that, precisely on 16 November, the then Justice Minister Amir issued a decree regarding the tightening Shamsuddin remissions.

The proposer use interpellation wanted the government to give an explanation of the publishing process of tightening the rules of these remissions. According to Aziz, the proposed interpellation will be presented to the House leadership next week.

Expected, the proposed interpellation has been discussed at plenary meetings during this trial.
